Composite
Fillings
Most people will need a filling at some point in their lives to restore damaged teeth or treat cavities and tooth decay. While silver fillings were once the norm, composite fillings are now the preferred choice.
Made from a blend of materials, composite fillings can be color-matched to your teeth, making them blend seamlessly with your smile. Additionally, they can be used to alter the shape, size, and color of teeth for restoration purposes.

Why Do Teeth
Need to Be Filled?
Teeth may need fillings for various reasons, the most common being tooth decay.
When decay occurs, small fissures or cavities can form on the tooth’s surface. If left untreated, these areas are exposed to bacteria, leading to further deterioration.
Sealing the cavity with a filling protects the tooth from more decay and restores its strength, making it more resistant to fractures and breaks.
